The Sherlock Holmes Pubs are part of the locally owned and operated Sherlock Holmes Hospitality Group. As a neighbourhood pub we want to provide our patrons with quality food that is made in house or sourced from businesses in our community. We use breads baked fresh at local bakeries, cheese from the Cheese Factory on Whyte Avenue and Cumberland sausage from Old Country Meats. Our community support also extends into our ongoing charitable involvement with ACF (Alberta Cancer Foundation) for Ovarian Cancer Research. We have made a commitment to be reduce our footprint on the environment in such ways as going straw free, compostable take away containers & cutlery, recycle our cooking oil through Redux.

World Centric supplies us with Take Out Containers and utensils that are BPI Certified compostable! Thank you for providing us with an amazing alternative to single use plastics.

The SHHG is proud to say our cooking oil is being collected and recycled in an environmentally responsible way. This is all thanks to REDUX! Redux is a West Coast Reduction Ltd. program offering used cooking oil collection and grease trap cleaning.⠀

Charity Involvement

We are pleased to have partnered up with the Alberta Cancer Foundation (ACF) for our major fundraising efforts.

Since March of 2013 over $166,000 has been donated to the ACF, more specifically Ovarian Cancer Research, through separate initiatives.

Each year a Sherlock Holmes Pubs Charity Classic Golf Tournament is held in July with the ACF and again more specifically Ovarian Cancer research being the main beneficiary. Over $95,000 raised from these events alone.
