Colleen’s Story

Colleen's Amber Ale has been a beloved staple of the SHHG since its introduction in 2014. This delicious beer was created not only to delight the taste buds of our patrons but also to support a meaningful cause. Named in honor of Colleen Tomchuk, the late wife of SHHG's managing partner, Colleen's Amber Ale represents the resilience and spirit of all women affected by ovarian cancer. Colleen Tomchuk was a remarkable woman known for her unwavering strength, boundless positivity, and deep love for her family and her cherished pug, Elwood.

For 12 years, we've been proud to pour Colleen's Amber Ale at our locations, with $0.50 from every pint going directly to The Alberta Cancer Foundation (ACF) for ovarian cancer research.
